DISCUSSION:-

Shiv Puran explains once all that the deities including the trinity Gods (Bhrama, Vishnu, Lord Shiva) gathered at Sumeru Parvat which lies 6,350 meters 20,830 feet high mountain in the Gangotri glacier region of Garhwal Himalayas, Uttarakhand, India to discuss and decide who is the Supreme God in the Universe?

This spiritual discussion turned into a big dispute and unwanted arguments as Bhrama Ji and Vishnu wanted to declare themselves supreme. The majority of the deities took a final decision in the favor of Lord Shiva as Shiva holds the whole Universe, past, present, and future in Himself and Lord Shiva is the beginning and the end of the Universe. Hence Shiva was declared as only Rudra.

Bhrama Ji reacted negatively to his issue and started abusing Lord Shiva. This was the main reason Lord Shiva got angry and created his own next incarnation 'KAAL BHAIRAV' soon and asked Him to punish Bhrama Ji. You must know that Bhrama Ji used to have five heads and Kaal Bhairav cut the fifth head of Bhrama Ji who had been abusing Lord Shiva so far.

PUNISHMENT TO KAAL BHAIRAV BY LORD SHIVA:-

Lord Shiva punished Kaal Bhairav for one of his mistakes in this episode. Morally this was wrong and sinful to cut the head of Bhrama Ji as this is called 'Bramma Hatya'. Lord Shiva allotted a vehicle of a dog to Kaal Bhairav and asked Him to move toward Kashi (Varanasi) via the whole Universe carrying the fifth cut head of Bhrama Ji in one hand and a bowl of blood in His next hand. Devi Braham Hatya with a sharp dangerous blade sward was deputed to watch Kaal Bhairav perform His punishment honestly. Kaal Bhairav turned black in His body due to the tedious non-stop running. At last Kaal Bhairav was awarded the post of Magistrate of Kashi by Lord Shiva. Hence Kaal Bhairav is the incarnation of Lord Shiva. The main temple of Kaal Bhairav is in Varanasi or Kashi in U.P. India.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KAAL BHAIRAV, MAHAKAAL BHAIRAV AND BHAIRAV NATH :-

Some devotees have been greatly confused about Bhairav Nath of Vaishno Devi. As a matter of fact, Bhairav Nath of Vaishno Devi who was assassinated by Devi belonged to the popular Nath Sect and He was the disciple of Guru Gorakh Nath whose Guru was Matsyendra Nath.

Bhairav Nath was blessed with a lot of Tantrik siddhis. He became arrogant with Tantrik's powers. He teased a lot to Mata Vaishno Devi considering Her to be a little girl. Later Mata Vaishno killed Him.

शिव पुराण एक बार सभी को बताता है कि त्रिदेव देवताओं (ब्रम्मा, विष्णु, भगवान शिव) सहित देवता सुमेरु पर्वत पर एकत्र हुए, जो गढ़वाल हिमालय, उत्तराखंड, भारत के गंगोत्री ग्लेशियर क्षेत्र में 6,350 मीटर 20,830 फीट ऊंचे पर्वत पर चर्चा करने और तय करने के लिए है कि कौन है ब्रह्मांड में सर्वोच्च भगवान?

भगवान शिव द्वारा काल भैरव को दंड~

इस कड़ी में भगवान शिव ने काल भैरव को उनकी एक गलती के लिए दंडित किया। नैतिक रूप से ब्रह्मा जी का सिर काटना गलत और पापपूर्ण था क्योंकि इसे 'ब्रम्मा हत्या' कहा जाता है। भगवान शिव ने काल भैरव को एक कुत्ते का वाहन आवंटित किया और उन्हें पूरे ब्रह्मांड के माध्यम से काशी (वाराणसी) की ओर बढ़ने के लिए कहा, जिसमें एक हाथ में ब्रह्मा जी का पांचवां कटा हुआ सिर और उनके अगले हाथ में खून का कटोरा था।

भैरव नाथ (वैष्णो देवी)~
